Description
The Bachelor of Science in Islamic Economics, Banking and Finance has been designed to provide students with thorough knowledge and skills in the financial sector, with a particular focus on the influence and impact of Islamic frameworks on economics, banking and finance generally.
The central aim of the programme is to teach the students about:
- Basic concepts, theories and practices of economics, banking and finance.
- Different economic systems around the world.
- Mechanisms and functioning of various large economies of the world and their interaction with each other.
- Various problems and issues in global economies.
- The way in which banks, financial institutions and markets around the world operate.
- Islamic principles of economics and their application in banking and finance.
Upon completion of the programme, the student will be awarded the Bachelor of Science Degree in Islamic Economics, Banking and Finance.
