About Us

Who We Are

Lifetime Innovation Learning Centre (LILC) is a grassroots nonprofit and non-governmental organization based in Kampala, Uganda. Established during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and officially incorporated in June 2022, LILC was born out of a vision to bridge educational and economic disparities affecting underprivileged communities.

We are dedicated to supporting young people, school dropouts, and other vulnerable groups by promoting access to tertiary education, practical skills training, and employment opportunities. Our mission is rooted in the belief that every young person deserves a chance to thrive through innovation, digital skills, and lifelong learning

What We Do

We are dedicated to empowering underprivileged young people and school dropouts through access to education, digital and vocational skills training, and employment opportunities. Our mission is to foster innovation, lifelong learning, and career development by offering services such as digital skills training (including coding and data analysis), securing scholarships and sponsorships, facilitating internships and job placements, providing access to internet and affordable laptops, and producing educational content. Focused on transforming lives and building resilient communities, LILC targets young people in selected districts of Uganda and East Africa, inspiring them to become proactive leaders and innovators in their fields.
